The survey, which was conducted by One Poll and commissioned by whiskey brand Jack Daniel’s, asked 2,000 Americans of legal drinking age questions about which drink makes a good impression on a first date, and which one does not. The results showed that 62 percent of respondents said that someone’s favorite drink says “a lot” about who they are. On top of that, 32 percent of women would consider a date placing a bad drink order to be a major faux pas, while men were almost twice as likely to find it off-putting, with 60 percent saying it was a deal-breaker.
