On Dec. 1, Ben Clark, host of the popular Brit radio show Mornings on Radio Exe, played Ora’s hit song “I Will Never Let You Down,” revealing to his listeners that it would be the last time she would be featured on his show for quite awhile. “I can’t speak for any other Radio Exe presenter, as of now for the foreseeable future, I’m not playing any of her songs,” he explained. According to The Sun, Ora first started feeling the heat after police were called to Casa Cruz restaurant in London on Nov. 28, where her party was reportedly going on. Currently, the lockdown orders in England prevent individuals from meeting with more than one other person outside of their household. “Police were called at 21:10 on Saturday, 28 November, to reports of a potential breach of Covid regulations at a commercial premises in Clarendon Road, W11. Officers attended and carried out enquiries at the scene but found no indication of any offence being committed at the time,” police said in a statement obtained by The Sun. “Officers continue to assess the allegations and are liaising with the local authority regarding a potential breach of regulations at the premises. Enquiries continue.” The Sun also published a photo of celebrity guests at the alleged 30-person bash, including Cara and Poppy Delevingne. The singer promptly issued an apology on social media. “Hello all, I attended a small gathering with some friends to celebrate my 30th birthday,” she posted in an Instagram Story on Nov. 30, via Just Jared. “It was a spur of the moment decision made with the misguided view that we were coming out of lockdown and this would be OK.” She continued: “I’m deeply sorry for breaking the rules and in turn understand that this puts people at risk. This was a serious and inexcusable error of judgment. Given the restrictions, I realise how irresponsible these actions were and I take full responsibility. I feel particularly embarrassed knowing first hand how hard people have worked to combat this terrible illness and being fully aware of the sacrifices that people and businesses have made to help keep us all safe.
